It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Clifford Austin Dixon, age 83, of Oxford. Clifford passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023.

Born in Oxford, he was a son of the late Austin Harvey and Mona Gertrude (Wood) Dixon.

Clifford was employed 43 years at Gordon’s Greenhouses as a foreman managing all rose production. 

He enjoyed spending time with his family, going fishing and drives in the country. 

Clifford will be dearly missed by his wife of 40 years Sherry (Chapman), his children David Chapman, Lisa Ferdinand, Cindy Sutherland, Robert Braby, Helen (Allison) Ellis, Dale (Nicole) Braby, Debbie (Charles) Hawker, Donald (Kelly) Dixon and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Clifford was predeceased by both of his loving parents Austin and Mona Dixon,  granddaughter Michelle Robertson and great grandchildren Madison Sears, Ryder Sears, C.J Sears and Jaxson Robertson. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the W. Allen Funeral Home, 60 Water St., Oxford, NS (902-447-2167). Following Clifford's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will take place at a later date.
