It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Kenneth Aruthur Samis, age 78 of Oxford. Ken passed away Tuesday, Novemeber 29, 2022 at home.

Born in Peterborough, ON, he was a son of the late George and Mary (Marois) Samis.

Ken loved to drive motorcycles and big trucks. 

He is survived by children, Paul (Crystal) Samis, Blairmore, AB, Shelly (Andrew) Wood, Oshawa, ON, Jason (Rhonda) Bennett, Springhill, Vannessa Craven, Oxford; grandchildren, Colton, Riley, and Levi Samis, Cora, Jordan and Montanna Samis, Katra Embree, Shania Hachey and Breanna Bennett, Elijah, Emmett and Easton Craven; great-grandchildren Ashton, Jaxon, Nova and Ella; siblings, Bernard (Wendy), Colborne, ON, Dan, Brighton, ON, Shirley (Dan) Vander Plough, Caring Place, ON, Beverly  Moffatt, Coburg, Tom (Deborah), Trenton, ON, Rosemary Fields, Trenton, ON.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Sandra; son Troy Bennett; siblings Betty Lou (Audley) Sheldrake and Audrey Post; brother-in-law Bob Fields and sister-in-law Bonnie Samis.

Arrangements are under the care and supervision of W Allen Funeral Home, 60 Water St., Oxford, NS (902-447-2167).  Following Ken's wishes, cremation has taken place. A service will take place on Saturday, June 10th at 11:00am at the All Souls Anglican Church in Oxford, followed by burial in the Pinegrove cemetery.
