It is with sadness we announce the passing of Joyce Marlane Eagles, age 74, of Carr's Brook Economy, NS. Joyce passed away at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre on Wednesday August 25, 2021 after a lengthy illness.

Born in Carr's Brook Economy, NS, she was a daughter of the late Meart and Kate (Bowden) Webb.

Joyce was a painter and loved painting scenes, flowers and especially eagles. She was an avid collector of many things. Her house was full to the brim of wonderful items. She loved attending yard sales and finding new treasures.

She will be dearly missed by her sons Merton (Nina), Port Philip, NS and Clare (Alexandra Fall), Oxford, NS; 7 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; sisters Jean Clish, North River, NS and Marilyn McBurnie, Five Islands, NS.

She was predeceased by her husband Morton.

Arrangements have been entrusted to W. Allen Funeral Home, 60 Water St., Oxford, NS (902-447-2167). Cremation has taken place. A family graveside service will take place in the Five Islands Methodist Cemetery.

Donations in memory of Joyce may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
