It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Lorraine Elizabeth Rushton, age 79, of Oxford, NS.  Lorraine passed away at the East Cumberland Lodge, Pugwash, on Monday, May 10, 2021.

Born in Oxford, NS, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Berniece (Purdy) Rushton.

She will be dearly missed by her siblings Llewelyn (Ruth), Leslie (Nancy), and Gloria, all of Oxford, NS; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by sisters Elsie, Doreen, Muriel, and Nina; brothers Percy, Merville, Leon, Ivan and Richard.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of W. Allen Funeral Home, 60 Water St., Oxford, NS (902447-2163). Cremation has taken place.  A graveside service will be held in the Pine Grove Cemetery on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 2 pm.  All are welcome to attend.
