I, Reta Margaret MacLeod-Simpson, age 93 have entered into the Spirit World on Friday, December 27, 2024, at the Wallace Retirement Living Centre in Truro. Please never wish me back to this earth.

Born in Truro, I was the daughter of the late Douglas John and Catherine (Wright) MacLeod.

I am survived by my favorite son who stuck by me Ricky Simpson (Wife-Danijela), another son, and adopted daughter. Eight grandchildren, Nine great-grandchildren and one great- great grand-daughter. Survived by my favorite niece Natalie MacLeod-Gloade (Ricky Gloade).

Besides my parents, I was predeceased by my husband Wylie Logan Simpson and favorite brother James MacLeod, as well as eleven other siblings. (A baker’s dozen in total). As well as my favorite nephew David Simpson.

When you see a beautiful butterfly think of me in the arms of my dear mother.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of W. Allen Funeral Home, Oxford, NS (902-447-2167). Following Aunt Reta's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services, private burial at a later date.
